Free-range art table. Cutting and pasting

After the surprising success and ease of the painting free-range art table I decided to give a cutting and pasting one a go.

This table has been a red hot favorite. There have been many hours spent making creations of all sorts and it was even easier to clean up than the painting table. Simply push the extra bits to the floor and sweep around the table a couple of times a day.

Apart from the ready made foam shapes I also used some corrugated paper and plain coloured paper that could be cut into any shape the kiddos liked. I had glue sticks and sticky tape to keep the mess at a minimum and so the kids could help themselves

A batch of freshly sharpened Lyra pencils and fancy paintbrush markers rounds off the table nicely.

I’m loving the creations the kiddos are coming up with! The addition of pasting stuff to their regular art has made everyone happy.

The possibilities are endless!

That is just floating my boat! We are going on a holiday for 4 weeks, but I’m storing that away in my mental homeschooling to-do list for when we get back. And I reckon even though they are 12 and 13, they will still love it :-) Thanks for sharing.
